KEY INFORMATION

 

The Race centre is located at the Village Hall & Cricket Club, Little Downham, near Ely and several miles North of Cambridge.

Start Time: 11:00 am.

This race accepts   ON-LINE entries Only   
(We are not equipped to deal with paper entries)
 to enter, click on the moving link at the top right of this page.

                                            PLEASE NOTE:
1) We will NOT be accepting entries on the day -  online entries will close as
    soon as we have reached 700 entrants.
2) Race numbers to be collected at the Race Centre on the day of the race.
3) The time limit for the race is 1 hour 15 minutes
                     Entry Fees: Affiliated £8, non affiliated £10

Race instructions will be emailed out from mid December 2008

Bad Weather - The race will go ahead under all but the most extreme
weather conditions. Please check this web site for announcements.

Please note:  Refunds cannot be issued under any circumstances

They will also be published in the ELY STANDARD 

Presentation of Prizes

To be conducted as soon as possible after the race by Chairman Peter Gipp (presenter) and John Turner (announcer) in the Village Hall as follows

 

1st Man                                      Engraved pewter tankard, £30 cash

1st Woman                                Engraved pewter goblet, £30 cash

2nd Man & 2nd Woman          £20 cash

3rd Man & 3rd Woman            £10 cash

1st Veteran Man & Woman    £10 cash
(5 years  40-70+  male categories)
(5 years  35-65+  female categories)  

There are no team prizes.

New Year drink to all finishers

Facilities:  Car Parking, Changing, Showers, & Toilets at the Cricket Club
Additional toilets at the school, adjacent to the Start
Registration, Kit Area, Toilets, Refreshments, 
& Presentation of Prizes at the Village Hall
